Why do I need to verify my identity for withdrawals?

As part of our commitment to security, Powerplay is updating its identity verification process for withdrawals, effective July 1, 2024, to meet new iGaming Ontario (iGO) requirements and AML directives.
What’s Changing?

  • e-Transfer Withdrawals: Withdrawals will require a prior deposit using the same method to confirm identity.
  • Card Withdrawals: A copy of the used card will be needed during the withdrawal to verify identity.
  • Action Needed: Please ensure your account details are current. Update any information by logging into your account or reaching out to [email protected] for help.
